Valerian: A Resilient and Uniquely Beautiful Herb

Valerian is uniquely beautiful plant. Grown on the Sister Sage farm, we unearth the entire plant, wash and harvest nearly all the root system and replant the trimmed valerian into a row where it will continue to regrow its roots for another 3 years until harvested once again. As testimony to this plants resilience, while washing/trimming/harvesting the plants on the farm one year, some plant matter had fallen to the ground unnoticed and ended up re-rooting itself in the nearby self heal patch!
